The pen has a body and cap made of solid 14K gold, with a series of fine horizontal lines etched along its length and has a black section leading to the nib. The bottle of ink is made of clear glass with a black label marked with Mont Blanc logo. Marked with Mont Blanc and Friedr Jahn, also bears a gold standard mark in two places.
