An antique Sevres style, Austrian, Vienna, porcelain and bronze travel carriage clock with a barometer. This clock and barometer have been used to keep time and monitor the weather while traveling. The faces of the clock and barometer are hand-painted with Sevres style depictions of birds, insects, and flowers, set against light bleu celeste grounds and adorned with gilding. The clock face displays a circular white dial, with black Roman numerals and numbers, and the barometer features numbers and the inscriptions, Stormy, Rain, Change, Fair, Very Dry. The sides and backs of the clocks are decorated with more Sevres style images of birds, and flowers painted onto white grounds and framed by foliate cartouches and light bleu celeste borders. The clock and barometer are placed within the glass and gilt brass cases, joined by a handle. The two are set on small brass feet. Numbered 3015 on the back. Circa: late 19th century.
