An antique late 19th-century Russian lacquered hand-painted wooden trinket box with hinged lid. Black body, silver interior. The lid depicts a winter scene with a horse carriage. Traces of stamps on the inner side of the lid, presumably Vishnyakov manufacture in Zhostovo.
