An antique Chinese Qing dynasty flambe duo handled glazed or Guyanyin porcelain vase. The Guanyin vase features a round body with an elongated tubular neck and two small handles in the shape of elephant heads with trunks bent downwards. The base of the vase with a peach bloom glaze, reveals the imperial mark on the bottom. Peach Bloom Glaze also known as Bean red or Apple red in Chinese, is characterized by its mottled pinkish-red color with possible russet spots and green tinges, created by a copper oxide glaze applied and covered with a clear glaze before firing. The six character marks on the bottom indicate that the vase was made during the Kangxi period,1662 to 1722 of the Qing Dynasty 1644 to 1911.
