An antique Belgium Art Nouveau bronze vase by Jacques Malvaux. Circa the 19th century. The vase is tall and slender, with a flowing, organic shape characteristic of the Art Nouveau style. Its surface is adorned with sculpted floral elements, including irises and foliage, which wrap around the body of the vase. The bronze has a rich, green brown patina, with golden undertones highlighting the details of the floral design. The vase has an asymmetrical, undulating rim. Signed near the base. Inscribed H. LUPPENS and Cie Ecteurs on the bottom. H. Luppens and Cie were a famous foundry from Brussels, Belgium, operating in the 19th century.
